Formalizing the "Lucky" Electric Blue

Lucky Magazine Article #004 MAY 2013

Happy Wednesday everyone and thank you for checking out my May article.  I has been a very busy week for me lately, but being busy does not stop me from looking my best!!!  All of my jobs, contracts and hobbies involve FASHION, so it is very easy to find an excuse to go on shopping sprees.  I tell you, it is very tempting!!!

For today's article, I chose an outfit that I wore over the weekend, where my job was to monitor beautiful models while they practiced their runway moves.  I know! It's exciting, and by the way, ThE sHoW iS tHiS wEeKeNd!!!
I wore a black halter top and a pair of electric blue ripped skinny jeans that I got from Macy's.  In order to formalize the look a little, I wore a dark gray blazer which brought out the black top.  I know its hard to differentiate the colors in the pic, but oh well!  The blazer brought the look to a higher level in fashion.  When it comes to footwear, I got my "never-been-opened" Steve Madden heels.  This nude color soften the look a bit.
Since I wanted to balance out the colors of the outfit, I wore three sets of gold and tan necklaces.  I simply wanted to bring out the nude color of these fab heels.
Being a stylist is very fun; while we play with the colors, shapes, lines, and silhouettes of the outfit, we need to have deep sense of balance in style.  So, when I give you an advice, please take it!  always, Always, ALWAYS wear three colors in your outfits.  Even if you are wearing minimal amounts, wearing three colors always works when you want to look your best!!!

Today's quote:
“The most important thing to remember is that you can wear all the greatest clothes and all the greatest shoes, but you’ve got to have a good spirit on the inside. That’s what’s really going to make you look like you’re ready to rock the world.” —Alicia Keys
